ground. >> an eyewitness describes the dramatic moment he saw a plane sputter to the ground over fredericksburg. that plane crashed into a mobile home park. pilot and one passenger on board both killed. darcie spencer spoke with a witness who saw the whole thing happen. >> reporter: virginia state police say the small plane crashed around 5:15 this afternoon, near the shannon airport. we spoke to an eyewitness who says he saw the plane go down from inside his mobile home. >> you seem a bit shaken? >> two people lost their lives today. so yeah. >> keith johnson was looking out his kitchen window and saw the single engine plane crash near the mobile home park in fredericksburg. >> the engines were running, sounded like it was sputtering in and out. i saw it go up, cork screwed down and hit the ground. >> reporter: it's not the first

time johnson has seen a plane go down here. >> one right over this hill, and one down there about ten years ago. >> reporter: the plane crashed a short distance from the airport. you can see where it hit a tree sheering off several branches. no homes or people were hit on the ground. >> coming in my wife started hollering, plane going down, plane going down. looked out the window, and i saw the tail end of it hit the ground. >> reporter: douglas johnson was one of a group of neighbors that ran to the wreckage. >> i ran as fast i could to get there. we did what we could do, called 911, it was too late. >> virginia state police and the ntsb are still investigating the cause of this fatal crash. in fredericksburg, virginia, darcie spencer, news 4. 6789 a motorcycle accident inside the third street tunnel near capitol hill has closed two lanes of southbound 395 tonight. the accident happened around

8:00 p.m. near the ramp to 395. southbound traffic is being diverted toward the virginia exit. no word on the condition of the motorcyclist or when the lanes will be reopened. learning more tonight about the man arrested last night after a long stand-off at bellhaven marina in alexandria. police arrested john watson after a nearly eight hour stand-off that started around 6:00 last night. they were called to the marina after reports of a man firing shots from a boat anchored nearby. police evacuated the marina, and tried to make contact with the suspect. today we spoke to a boater who saw it all happen. >> we heard like four shots. we thought it was my motor, because i recently got a boat. i guess it was him, and i knew he was shooting at the helicopter. >> police say they're looking into those reports he fired at a helicopter. he'll be arraigned on mont.

the occupy d.c. movement was out today trying to foreclose on bank of america branches around the district. the group put up foreclosed signs blocking the entrance. the protesters want to draw attention to the foreclosure issues many americans are still facing. >> our slogan is the banks got bailed out, we got sold out. lots of people were sold out by the banks. this is the way to make that real and use our power to bring real gains to people. we were able to stop one eviction already. we were able to delay another eviction for a couple months. the group protested at all 11 bank of america branches that were open today. great day to be outside today and tonight. storm team 4 meteorologist chuck bell is here to tell us if we can expect more of this great weather tomorrow. >> evening to you. good saturday evening, everybody. we're enjoying dry weather and a nice peek at the full harvest moon right now.

thousands of people enjoyed good food, music and carnival rides at the 20th annual fairfax kids fest. for the first time it's a two-day event. if you missed today, you can head out to the government center tomorrow 10:00 to 5:00, and it's free. we're gearing up for our 20th annual health and fitness expo. march 16th and 17th at the washington convention center. more than 300 teen girls came out to prince georges community college today. a special sisterhood summit. the goal, to teach girls how to resolve conflicts without violence. judge glenda hatchet was one of the guests. and tracy wilkins also spoke to the group. assault cases among girls went up 24% from 1996 to 2005.

there will be late night rainshowers on the interstate. and steadier rains across eastern carolina and eastern virginia. those won't be bothering us. there's a system generating rainshowers in western pennsylvania. that we need to keep an eye on for tomorrow. that pinwheels around a large trough in the atmosphere. it may be able to ring out one or two quick little showers tomorrow. here we are stopped at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. mid to late afternoon, that little chance gliding on by. anyone who gets rain tomorrow, shouldn't have to worry about it raining for more than 15 or 20 minutes. maybe once or twice during the day. rainfall amounts will be very light if you get anything. i would not cancel any outdoor plans for tomorrow. it will be dry tomorrow night, and a dry start on monday. most of monday will be dry, steadier rain coming back by tuesday. overnight, partly cloudy, can't rule out a stray shower. you folks north of maryland and south of town.

[ cheers and applause ] you know, for a long time i've been mick jagger. because of that, i've met people from all over the world. they always ask me the same questions. so tonight i figured i would use the monologue to answer all those mick jagger frequently asked questions. so let's begin. the first one is, i'm always asked, hey, mick, who's your favorite rolling stone? [ light laughter ] well, that depends. you know, if i'm allowed to pick myself, then i'd say my favorite is obviously me. but if i'm not allowed to pick myself, i'd say, "i don't believe in playing favorites." "hey, mick, when you're on stage at a concert, you always ask the crowd, how are you doing tonight?" and the audience would cheer and i'd say, "i can't hear you." they say, "is that true? can you not hear us?" well, i can hear you. it's just that i'm not listening. the next question is, mick, i get this one a lot, "mick, have you finally got satisfaction?" yes. bravo. it's very clever. it's a tricky question, though.

because if i say no, then they'd be, like, what's your problem, man? exactly what more do you need? and if i say yes, then i can't sing the song anymore. anyway, people always ask this one. "mick, do you have any regrets?" you know something? a few years ago i was approached by a newly created restaurant chain called ruby tuesday. they asked me if i would come along to their grand opening and sing the song "ruby tuesday" for $1,000 and a lifetime supply of jalapeno poppers.
